Fort Loudoun Living History Program

The Independent Company of Foote, a member of the Forces of Montcalm and Wolfe, is a family oriented Living History group dedicated to bringing the 1750's back to life. When gathered at Fort Loudoun, the group goes about the daily activities common to a frontier fortification. Cooking, sewing, blacksmithing and carpentry are but several of these activities. There are also military activities such as musket drill and cannon drill and the raising and lowering of the Colors.

The Independent Company meets regularly throughout the year at Fort Loudoun as well as attending other Living History events throughout the eastern United States.
